Matt if you are using the IMG code from photo bucket leave some space between where your writing and where you paste the IMG code and then leave space again after you paste the IMG code :D. I like to hit enter once or twice before pasting an IMG code and then again after before I tupe something else or paste another IMG code.

Very Nice,

Thinking of putting the in floor storage in the floor also - great for skis, fishing poles, spears, axes, and my fold up bow mounted trebuchet!

No - really - great Job!

Very nice looking rig. Post pics of the enclosure when you finish. Any chance of seeing it at Lake Anna in June?

Re: my 67 starcraft carolina edition

Thanks for the replies! Yep ..planning on comming to tinstock, I need the dates and lodging set ups, tee shirt order form etc. ...who do i talk to? and to ezmobee.. i'm building another splashwell platform to go on my kicker side as well .... the other is soooo nice working on the outboard, working the downrigger and getting in and out off the transom ....plus it gives you a flat platform to strap baitwells and stuff to. Not shown in the pics ..when you snap the rear cushions out ...i have an opening cut into the seat platform on the left for a 5 gallon aerated baitwell that plugs into a switch and timer located beside it under the gunnwale and the carpeted (cushions removed)seat platform is 3/4" ply that makes a good fishin' step (18" deep x 65" wide)

Re: my 67 starcraft carolina edition

I'd be interested in as many pics of your carefully thought out interior (particularly the rear bench seat and storage area) as you'd care to take as well as any construction photos of that splash well platform.

Also, would you mind resizing the couple 'o huge pics up there down to 640x480?

Anything you need to know about Tin Stock is here: http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=337378 link to accomodation thread is in the first post.

Re: my 67 starcraft carolina edition

Sorry about the 2 big pics ezmobee ...thought i had resized them ..obviously I missed a couple . How do i edit a post to change them? I'll take some photos of the splashwell platforms for you and post them . I've been getting nice boards of teak ...72" x 30"x 1" from a guy named sergio on ebay ...really good prices , and alot cheaper when you rip them down yourself as opposed to buying precut stuff.

No need to edit. If you fix them on photobucket they will automatically show up correctly on here since they are just being linked to.

That's one sweet looking ride! I like the fact that she's a Carolina (home sweet home) Did you do all the work on her? and where is Oak Ridge?

Re: my 67 starcraft carolina edition

Captmills, yes I did all the work ..only me to blame:D Actually, my middle and last daughters did a bit of sanding and scotchbriting the trim ....and the wife let me do it instead of working on her projects for the last 4 months... The boat went in my shop and was hung up to paint ..motor gone through and decks ,foam, carpet and most mechanicals done about 7 years ago:eek: I have 2 MGB's that i was going to restore and the boat was in the way . I got the trailer ready and planned to just move it out unfinished but figured iffin i did'nt go ahead and finish it while it was in the shop it would never get done! So the last 4 months I finished all the interior, stripped the boat and all the fittings ....zinc chromate, epoxy primer ,3 colors of epoxy paint ,a bunch of woodworking finding parts ,building the windshield frame and putting new lexan in,rebuilding carbs ,waterpump, coils, powerpack, and sweating .....and we splashed it last week:) I can't believe I went without her for this long , glad to be back in my Starcraft! Oh ..OakRidge is in the northern piedmont ..just above Greensboro.

Re: my 67 starcraft carolina edition

I like it! Could you post some more pics of the interior? Bought mine back in August and have been having alot of the same fun, Just getting the floor back in now but I have rewired, rebuilt carbs, installed impeller, torn out floor and replaced and getting ready to strip and paint and then get to the interior but not sure where to go with it. Mine will be fishing/pleasure and we like to camp out at Cape Lookout so I will be hauling gear as well. Nice looking boat you got there!!! Steven
