I had this posted in another part of the board, but I figured the Bayliner owners would like to see it a little bit better. I bought this boat last year, used it for 4 months then finally decided to tear the floor up and devise of a new floor plan. Here are the pictures of what I have done so far (replaced the floor, I was lucky and stringers were in AMAZING shape, and build the left side new bench seating.

Oh yes. I've been slacking on getting the floor 'glassed in. As you can see in the pictures I still have 1 more section to lay, but i wanted to get the seat building started since that takes the longest. I have to have it ready by the 4th of July. Lots of progress will be made this month.

Got most of the drivers side seat box finished today and also started painting the floor. The sides are going to be carpet, but I wanted the floor to be painted with a non-skid paint. I should have the carpet on this week and the rest of the floor painted, it's really going to need 2 coats at a minimum.

Re: My '88 Cuddy Resto

A small update. I got the speaker holes cut out on the L side along with carpeting both sides of the boat and the L seat box. Also got a little bit more done on the R side, but not much. I finally get this weekend off, so I'll be able to make a lot of progress. Friday I'm going down to a new Bayliner dealer (Sea Ray of Savannah) to get a serp belt and thermostat housing gasket. However, they want $200 for an aluminum prop! The other dealer about 45 min away are selling the same Mercruiser props for $128! I might just have to drive the extra distance to get it! Anyway, check back later for updates!

That is a nice looking boat! I'm redoing a 22 Cuddy. Outside looks good now .engine almost there. The cuddy will take a while,I don't work well with wood. Maybe I'll do like you,and rearrange the lay out in the cuddy.
Thanks for the idea
