my boat restoration , 1977 galaxy

Figured out the deck was repaired after I pulled the carpet out and it looks good some type of tin strips like material under wood deck could be old school or? , the wood 3/4 inch wood is treated just had some weather beating on the surface , I cleaned up and used a exterior sealer and bonding agent with silicone caulk around the edges for water tightness, im sure this is a mortal sin in the repair forums

oh incase someone is wondering what is that big gapping hole is where the passenger consol was , I sabered it out , was a inspirational thought/alter design to open the boat up for a bass/pontoon boat effect , hope it turns out well, no turning back now..

ok , im going to working on carpet and seating/Cushing?s , my problem is that I cant get around how im going to fit/secure the back Cushing in the front open bow that?s to rounded to just cut out plywood ,
