Here is the legendary Hydrophobia, waiting for that Johnson to show up - anyone know what year Starcraft this might be?
3826635.s.jpg

the fiberglass Crestliner, Chugboat Annie ... trailer isnt so hot tho, lol - and ol John sure needs a freshening up!
3826638.s.jpg

This is the Big Girl, the ol NeverSail herself ... I am tracking down a few leads for an outdrive, but SeaCraft guys keep telling me their boats were rotted out .. not encouraging!
3826637.s.jpg

This one isnt mine, but I still want it! classic down east lines to my eye, that upturned bow just looks like something out of Maine to me

3826641.s.jpg

Lastly, for those of you who wonder why Hydrophobia is such a fitting name, this is a sister ship (chip?) to the original Hydrophobia, which went out into Delaware Bay and the adjoining Atlantic Ocean
- definitely NOT the place for a 14 semi vee lake boat!
the red boat is the Chris Craft I would love to have, needs virtually no work, stored for years in a barn, floor is fine, stringers fine, motor NEW, argh ....

the white and brown boat is the infamous chugboat annie

I had them up in order too, from Big Bertha to the twin of the original hydrophobia ...

ah well

All ya gots ta do is go to your site you have the pics stored on, right click on the image, click Properties, and look at the file address. It'll say http://blahblahbla. Highlight that entire address, copy it, and paste it into your message on this board. Then bracket it with
. In fact, hit Edit on your original post for this thread, and just bracket each filename with
, and it'll work. There can be no spaces, and this must be seperate from any text and other images you are trying to post. When you do this, always hit Preview before you post, so you know if it works or not. That is my secret.....

Ray:

When I clicked on the IMAGE button, here's what I put in for the address of the picture:

http://images.photobox.co.uk/public/images/66/40/3826640.s.jpg

Remember that you cannot put in the address of the page that the picture is on - it has to be the actual picture address.

Follow Jason's instructions, except that on the PhotoBox site you have to leave off the ?ch=1 type stuff at the end of the address. Just use the part up until it says ".jpg"

Hope this helps.

Re: My Boating Parade, take a look before the bandwidth gets me booted! LOL

Ive hit a few of those, but thanks, Ill check it out ...

they tend to get me depressed, the scarcity of the 215E, how prone they are to rot, in the mid 80's I had that boat so pretty, new everything, sunk nearly ten grand (mid 80's dollars mind ya, sheesh!) in to it ... (I was a hot shot kid driving a big rig, money and boating fanatics soon part company, lol)

but I remember her then, gleaming white, as I remember her in 71, 125 horsepower Mercury couldnt keep up with her running down the Delaware Bay - of course, my uncle "breathed on it a bit" brand new motor, brand new boat, BRAND NEW, and hes got the motor hanging on an engine stand ...

then it was my turn in the eighties, his raw water feed cooling system pumped salt water thru a Dominator aluminum intake ..

yes, the new engine has a cast iron 4 barrel on it, I lightened it a little (cleaned up the ports)

SO Ill clean her out before the weather turns and get some tarps over her, make a double tent, just in case one leaks the other will catch it

yours looks like a brand new 2003 boat!

I want to capture the look of a 66 boat ... would love to camoflage the digital fishfinder into an old paper reader unit

I have a CB marine unit to go in the boat, and Ill get a nand held VHF and GPS unit

and the Sea Craft just might cough up its giant compass, once I find out what to fill it back up with, mineral oil seems to be the way to go

as they say, awayyyyy we go ....
