he was driving his 98 Chevy silverado on a mountain road hit a patch of black ice slid off the road cough a drainage ditch and flipped several times times eventually comming to a rest upside down on the section of road below the section that he went off of. it was him Linda and there 7 year old daughter in the truck. everyone came out fine a few bumps and bruises and wiplash. linda got the worst of it with a cut on her forehead. they had to wait almost an hour and a half for another vehical to pass threw as they had no cell phone reception. then they had to wait another hour for an ambulance to arrive. luckily no one was seriously injured. he contributes there lack of injury's to the durability of the truck wich of course is a total loss. he says he wont be getting anything other than another chevy. I might be taking a drive to Oregon to take him my 95 gmc sierra and visit him.
