My daughter turned in her entry to science fair today. It was about what happenns when bones lose calcium. She demonstrated it with vinegar as it disolves the calcium in chicken bones. She got FIRST PLACE. Proud papa fo' sure!

Re: My daughter and science fair.

I was worried about this thread. Thought we might all have to mail seawater samples again . . . :D

Anyway, awesome!! We've kinda sucked so far at science fair around here. The ole lemon battery trick is getting tired. I need some motivation like this, thanks. Tell your daughter congratulations!!!

I commend you Ken for knowing what is going on with you daughter at school. Too many parents anymore don't even know their kids teachers names let alone the subjects they are in.

Gongrats on being a great dad! Now what reward did you give her? Ice Cream? Pizza? ah,,,,,,,new puppy? :D

The greatness of science projects is to watch the young mind work through its curiousities. Congrads to a proud Dad. Today vinegar and bones tomorrow a cure for cancer. Pass the good words of your friends to her.
