wow this is kicking my butt getting this transom wood out of this boat,even the rotten stuff is a pain. I stopped and cut out the new transom so I could feel some accomplishment today. here are some pics.

How much smaller should I cut the transom wood compared to the back of the boat for the fill it. And what material should I use to cover that transom wood.keep in mind when it comes to fiberglass materials im a rookie and don't know all abbr.also what is used for the fill it
