Some of you may have seen my other threads so for you guys ill just say that between the new starter and some cables i got her running fine.
But running it out of the water scares me. I want to make sure i am not gonna damage anything.
Ive been told that what i have is an OMC stringer. It has a connection on the port side for a hose. As long as i have water running to that am i ok? Do i plug that when im in the water?
Also how does the engine stay cool with no fan? And the radiator is so small. Does the engine or outdrive get cooled with seawater aswell?
Like i said i am new to the I/O stuff and dont want to mess anything up.
For reference my boat is a 1976 19' Thompson with a ford 302 (that i paid $250 BTW
And it came with a brand new Die Hard Platinum $250 Battery haha what a steal. So far anyway.
