I have the same trailer jack on mine with the teeth to raise and lower it. It still works like a charm after 30 years

While you have the deck up you might want to buy some gluvit to apply on the rivets and seams. It will keep the rivets sealed up well.

You can go a little bigger on the pics, try large.

That a definite but first I'm gonna concentrate on getting the trailer done this week. My plan is to follow joey's attack since I have trailer parts and no money for boat until thursday. I was wondering is it ok to use pt for the bunks or epoxy or some other sealer

i have a new jack, lights and another winch; the 3 tires are new. Trailer's functional but i want nice to look at for the wife's approval for all the time going to be spent. lol.

It looks like a 82-84? You should be hitting 35-40mph++ with that setup

My trailer's got a winch that looks just like yours with a rope that I need to replace too. Very similar boat, looks like a great package.

i have to replace float on a carb but as far as i can tell it's ready for the water. not sure of the year, I thought 79?

I was worried about the chemicals in the pt touching the aluminum throughout the off season when it doesn't get used

i was thinking of changing the colors and i want to paint trailer to match boat but the bow section was all good. so i might keep original colors which i'm not to fond of. i guess i'll go with pt too for trailer if no one's having a problem with it.

If I could interject here for just a moment... Since we're a little on the topic, I understand pt wood is not good for aluminum but what about thompson's water sealer? I ask because the floor in the one I just got was apparently coated with it, is that ok? Or are the chemicals the same? Thanks
