I bought a 1977 85 johnson today. It is my biggest motor yet and is retardedly fast on my 600lb 16ft jon boat.
I want to put an overboard water indacator on it, I know this has been posted on before but I need a little more coaching before I put dewalt to motor. Where is the best place to drill for the fitting? also, the rubber seal where the top cowling separates from the bottom is crumbling. Any ideas where I could find the replacement rubber? Thanks for any ideas. Shawn
