Hello to all. I've been reading and learning a lot form all who is on here doing a restoration.I thank you all cause I was lost . Anyway I have inhertied my grandfathers boat.he wasn't able to take care of it at the end so it sat in the weather for sometime. The floor is completley gone . I've been taking out wet wood for a few days now. Should be taking the top of here soon.as soon as I learn to post pictures I will post them .again thank you to all what I thought was hopeless is becoming possible . I am open to any tips could realy use them thanks.....can someone tell me how to post pictures I can't figure it out

Here is the stringers they all had saw cuts in them when I pulled the floor up. They are realy smal 3/4 in width and 3 inches wide at the top what's the best way to replace them ?

Sorry it took so long to reply. It just works that way sometimes. Your pics came thru just fine. Post some more of the entire boat so we can see what you have to work with.
Best way to remove stringers is with a sawzall and a long flexible blade. Just be careful not to cut thru the hull. Make sure to wear GOOD PPE. The Dust and Fibers are NASTY.

Thanks for getting back to me ...I'm at a standstill for the moment till I can get some help getting the motor off .. here are more pics though

Looks like your on the right track....get the deck up and the foam out to look at the stringers and transom.

Ok I got help coming this weekend..ill have the motor and top and foam out by mid week if everthing goes good..ill post more pics ..thank you all again

I have the gas tank out of the floor . My grandfather had it unhooked and didnt use it . When i got it out it had a half tank of gas and alot of sludge . what is the best way to clean it out its all aluminum ?

Take it to a radiator shop and have it boiled/steam cleaned.
