Alright guys. I did make a an interim post on my progress, but of course that was deleted during the upgrade. I have poured the transom and splashed it last night. Everything worked great! No leaks, the motors ran great, and all the electronics functioned properly. She cruises at 39mph wide open at about 5200rpm and the kicker trolls down to around 1mph. All in all I am totally happy with my choice to go with a pourable transom.

Here is a pic of the diamond plate panels I made to cover the access holes I cut in the splashwell and side walls.

Cleaned up the inside while I had some free time

Finally it's time to pour the transom. Notice the custom pour spout on the bucket and the custom 5 gallon bucket mixer on the drill.

5 gallons in the transom

Sealed up the sidewalls with tape and then put the cap on and secured it with tape so that I could pour the nida in up the sides.

Thanks Teamster!

Just got the boat back from the dealer on saturday. I took it in for full checkup on the motor. Its nice to have the peace of mind that goes along with a certified mechanics seal of approval (especially since the first big trip we are going to take is heading to the big waters of lake Michigan for a salmon fishing trip). The mechanic gave me a clean bill of health so now I am moving on to rigging downriggers and making sure I have all the required safety equpiment.
