All,

I'm new here - Just purchased my 1988 30' Luhrs Alura in Tampa Florida and shipped it to Seattle Wa.

I searched for a long time to find the right boat - Many are rough with no maintenance history. I was fortunate to find this one owned by an airline pilot who was meticulous about servicing and care.

Only 580hrs on the Yanmar 240hp - cruises at 17mph @ 2700 RPM - 3000RPM which is recomended cruising RPM she does 20MPH

These boats have lots of room in cockpit, tons of storage and bait wells and are comfortable for 2-4 people.

Really have been enjoying cruising all over the Puget Sound and boat is great for fishing/crabbing - Just hauled the boat for bottom paint and zincs - Also replaced the trim tab rams because one was leaking.

All the best!

X's 2, super cool looking boat!! Not that I know anything about Yanmar diesel engines but I would imagine 580 hours is basically just broke in.

Nice find. One of my favorite boats. Looked hard for one before I bought the Carver, but wife didn't like the cabin layout. Great that you got a bow thruster. I'm jealous.
