My New (to me) SSV-14

Good afternoon all.

I recently picked up a 2002 SSV-14 with a 2004 four stroke 25hp Honda and it's nice to find this forum for Lund owners. Here's the new boat:



In the last month I've had the carbs cleaned (previous owner hadn't used it much n the last 2 years), and installed new floors in the mid and aft sections. I plan to install a casting deck with hatches up front, down riggers, and maybe even a 5hp kicker.

I look forward to exchanging stories and ideas with the group.

Just sold my Lund sv 14. An amazing boat that fished Van Harbour to the south of Bowen and beyond, conditions permitting. After 10 years it sold for close to what I paid for it.

That is one beautiful boat you have,last year we bought a new 2010 Lund WC14 and installed two Honda outboards,a 2010 Honda BF2 for kicker duty and as a main motor a 2011 Honda BF25.We installed seats ,a bimini,spot light,stereo (speakers,am/fm antenna) ,battery voltmeter gauge,floor mats,etc.Have fun and enjoy your boat...

Looks lovely in the pic (nice location too). A SSV was my first experience in a Lund back in the Summer of 1997. We were on a fly-in fishing trip in Northern Ontario - - North of tree line. On the trip we were caught in a fast arriving Northern storm. The experience causing me and my three buds to sell our boats and buy Lunds.

One of the main reasons I chose this model was its ability to handle some rougher waters out here.

Nice ssv14 in a nicer location! They are great boats, I had a 1979 ssv16 for many years, regret selling it. I currently have a lund tyee but am looking for another ssv for a second boat.

Dan just wondering what bimini you used, size, and went u put it down did it get in the way at all

by the way, great looking boat, I just bought an 09 Lund Wc 14 DLX with a 25 4 stroke yamaha, just hooked lights, pedistal seat in the middle and now framing in the bow with aluminum. It is also a White Lund, I have yet to see a White lund 14 anywheres online?
