We call that "the back channel" but it doesn't hug the shore. I was recently told the bouys are out of place and do NOT mark the channel properly, so don't go there unless you want to suck mud into your motor.
Once they position the markers correctly, the back channel is useable, but still narrow and shallow (3'), particularly at that first turn near the marina. I understand the state will be dredging it the next year so more boats can access Swan Harbor Farm.
