So I took my boat out to the lake on friday..
While putting it in the trailer my nephew said ur outdrive is low, I said raise it up a little so it wont get damaged while taking it out of the water...
When I got home, I wanted to lower the trim so that I could store it in my garage, when I hit the down switch I notice that only the solenoid was clicking. So I tried manually putting pressure on the outdrive to lower it with my nephew holding the switch down and I wasnt able to lower it.I noticed that its stuck on the up right position.. Do you think he held the switch to long when raising the trim?
Is there a way I could manually lower it? What can be causing the outdrive to get stuck when raising the trim all the way to the top?
The first time I lowered it from being stuck I put force on the outdrive to lower it the switch being held down.
I just put a new outdrive tilt motor last tuesday..
