Hello I am working on this starcraft that has been stored in a barn for 8years. Can anyone tell me the year of this boat? The tag on the transom says 14 ft. Dart. The serial # is 64 19124. Is the 64 the year? So far I have made new seats to match the old seats and have made a new transom although the original was still good after I got it out. Does anyone have photos of the interior so I can keep it original as I can. I will be using it this summer for fishing and maybe paint it next year. New seats and other wooden parts, new steering cable and good to go. The steering wheel looks like rope and it has some cracks. Is there anything I can use to patch up this plastic wheel as it lookes cool. Thanks in advance for any info. you can give me.

Most of those old-type seats I have seen have the top of the back riser level with the gunwhales and some are cut lower...lessens the chance of hanging a foot or stumbling when moving around in the boat. Your boat looks like a good project. Takes some work searching the Web to find pix of boats with the original layout...but it's a good way to get ideas for a refit.
