I didn't know how the "Promotion" system worked on here until yesterday when I too hit 30 and became a seaman apprentice. This is kind of interesting to me. I bet its over 10,000 to be a supreme mariner. I am willing to bet that neither you nor I will reach that any time soon. But non the less congratulations to you.

Maybe ya didn't know, but the first 30 are free. Then, after that, any post we don't agree with, we knock ya back 2 posts. So in reality, its up to you to get to run the ship, or swab the deck for eternity...

Thanks. If you look at my previous posts under "ranking", there is a list of ranks and number of posts to make the rank. I don't know how to do a link to it or I would. Some day I'll figure out links.

Just bump it up - that way you can pad your post count and be one closer to the top!

By the way, congrats on the promotion, and with each promotion comes a 10% raise.
