my recent posts

ok I'm probably just missing something so skool me up.

I go to my recent post and have to sort , descending, on last update but it doesn't do that and frankly I can't figure out how it is sorted in any manner.

ANy tips?

Joe - i think My Recent Posts is sorted descending by default, it is for me anyway. The list is the threads you have posted in and sorted by Last Update by any user, with the most recent on top. To see only your posts in descending order with the most recent on top, look at your profile. Using the About tab in your profile allows you to select all posts or only threads started by you.

they are sorted ascending or descending by the last post made. by anyone, and not by you as the viewer. or at least it is supposed to be.

Here is what I see - looks like I am filtered correctly, but does not list as such. I want to have any thread I've posted on, that has a new post by any user, to be on top

Yes. Ignore the post times in the Last Post column. With the way the cache is updated, the times are not always displayed correctly. But all the threads in this list are threads you have started or replied to and only the latest updated threads have the possible wrong time. So what you want is exactly what you got. Trust me, :smile:

Yes again. Clicking All Posts gives you this, but it doesn't tell you if any member posted after you like the Recent Posts display does.





Clicking Started Posts yields, but again no telling if a member posted after you except the post count is greater than 1, the thread starting post.
