Well the red and white skeeter is no longer with me, but here is one you all might like, A flawless 1985 SF175 all original seats, gelcoat is still flawless. I hung a 175 Looper on the back of it, and let me tell you, this thing will run!<br /><br />

Mike83, there's some bucks settin' there in that pic of yours...that engine on the back is what we call a "99 cube Merc eating machine"...nice boat!

Ladano: Handles good so far. Haven't been able to run it in calm enough water yet to really push it. Top speed so far is about 45 mph (gps) but I got a new Raker over the winter to play with <br /><br />Kenny: Thanks. (BTW I got the Raker you suggested. )

Yea TXN8, it just ain't right having a right nice rig like that and putting a merc on it. For shame! <br /><br />Nice ride, though - nicer than my ole sled. Go ahead and make me jealous of a merc!

so i just bought a fixer upper and its goin to have a rebuilt 140 merc on it. how fast do you all think it will go? i think its 16 ft but maybe 15. its a sport fisher from 1980. im redoing the stringers and transom in it. hopefully it gets me into the flats quick!!! which im sure it will. does anyone have any restoration pics that i could see on thier skeeters? that seems like a hell a engine!! but the boat safety tag says its rated for 150hp?!!!!!
