my skeg is bent, can that be adjusted

i just bought a used Chris Craft BR, and determined from all day riding this weekend that the boat pulls to the left. in looking at the lower unit, we discovered the skeg on the outdrive is bent about an inch or so to the right, which causes the pulling (I think).
can this be bent back?

Bending the skeg would be a job for a very compentent welder because it will likely break off when you try to bend it back. There should be an adjustable tab which will allow you to correct the pull. Since we don't know the brand of outdrive would not be able to tell you more. Look it over for that before preforming major surgery. If the skeg breaks it the outdrive must come off and be torn completely down before welding.
