It's a matching trailer that came with the boat you would think tracker would design it properly.

You have the trailer that came with the boat, doesn't mean it's the proper trailer for the boat. It's what dealers do to bring the price point down. Sell it and get one that fits the boat, even if you can't have the folding tongue ...

Let's see better pictures of the bow mount, how it's attached, how the boat sits against it. It's possibly you could bring the boat forward by modifying the bow mount, instead of moving it.

How much weight is being carried in the stern of the boat while trailering?

while trailering i cant tell you honestly, i keep things like my anchor up front, but my tools i keep under the back seat, i was thinking about moving them up front, but there is not a huge amount of space up there

Do you have enough room to slide the boat forward, so the transom is sitting on the bunks and the bow isn't hitting the spare tire? That bow mount looks good, and I guess you could move the spare tire to a side mounted bracket if needed.

If your bow stop roller supports angled forward instead of backwards, it'd be perfect... A trailer or any welding shop can fix rework that stop easy enough. That black unit in the link looks like great solution too, and the price is right-

Carey, take the boat to a fabrication/welding shop with the picture of what you want and get a quote.
Thats an hour of work for a good welder @ $80-$90 per hour shop rate or less???

If you pick up some longer u bolts you could move ur existing stand up to just behind the swing tongue

i was thinking that but was concerned because it may go too far forward, maybe i will give it a shot this weekend and see how it goes

when i was taking the pics i shot the bolts with some oil to loosen them up so i could mess around with it

.

Me thinks the trailer tongue weight is too light weight as well. If wondering, trailer tongue weight should be within 10%-13% of "average" loaded boat trailer. Might be 8% or so - with full tank of gas in boat.

8% would be just about perfect. You do not want 13% on a single axle boat trailer. It is too much. Read the trailer owners manual!

I've never had any problem at all with 15% on single axle trailers

You are correct. As per http://www.ezloader.com/Manuals/ezloader/Custom/Old/Owner's Manual 2010.pdf -> Page 13 - "Five to ten percent of your trailer’s Gross Vehicle Weight should be supported by the hitch ball, with the tongue level. This is called “tongue weight”. I'm sure each boat manual is different. If wondering, my boat trailer pulls best when tongue is heavy - in the upper 10% range.

It looked to me (from the pics) like the swing tongue section is wider than the tube the bow mount is mounted to now, IE: bow mount holes too narrow to bolt to the swing tongue section. A die grinder and a carbide bit would resolve that problem,,, if it's an issue.

I looks like the boat needs to move forward quite a bit, If it were mine I would be slicing & dicing that winch stand / roller brackets, Get it where I want it and take it to a welding ship if you do not have a welder, Re-paint & you are done. That transom should be supported by the bunk boards. How far is the boat overhanging the boards?
