Mystery bolts (4) in transom upgrade my SIB model?

I noticed the company I purchase my SIB a couple months ago had something new on their website regarding the model I bought from them. I'm not certain what this upgrade does though...any thoughts? I can't see bolts holding the PVC material onto the transom any better.

Are for reinforcing both transom holders in an event transom will come off/unglue from holders specially after years of use. When sib is new it's a more aesthetic and Rambo pro look and for justifying the over price payed as a plus The only way to stress a new transom is by boating frecuently with a underinflating sib along a heavier engine use than rated for.
