Mystery distributor

This is a distributor off a 1987 4.3L mercruiser I bought for parts - does anyone know anything about it? It says "Cherry" on the pickup module and the numbers - CU101501. It didn't come with an ignition module, does anyone know what it uses? It only has 2 wires and everything else I've seen uses 3. Any information would be helpful.

It's a Thunderbolt IV distributor. It's what Mercruiser used up to 95.

That was a fast response! So just standard mercruise then. I guess I missed it looking around the net. I have an OMC and just needed engine parts - didn't know what this was.
