mystery wires....Mercury 25hp

I have a Mercury 25 04 bigfoot. I am installing a sterio. I've always wondered what these 4 wires are for and the black plug they all come out of the throttle case. as you can see. any ideas?

Well the, red/ blue/green, are for tapping in to put a tilt switch in the bow. And the black plug is for the tach harness, once the tach harness is run to the dash it's wired to the rest of the gauge's. The brown if it has a white stripe is the tilt gauge.

Thanks woody! I guess I'll never need to use it! Idk why or how you need to tilt the bow of the boat?
