I have come across a Naden boat, gonna be a restoration project for my son and I. Can't figure out much about this boat. It's a 15 foot boat, 3 rows of seats, enclosed bow. the caps on rear of boat say "Naden, Webster Iowa". Anybody out there know what H.P. this might be rated for, year model, etc.? Also, has numerous holes drilled through deck over enclosed bow. Any idea on best way to fill those before painting? I attached some pictures. --Thanks !naden 1.jpgnaden 2.jpgnaden 3.jpg

Re: Naden boat

Based on the general design of the boat I would guess it was made sometime in the 1950s. It is very similar to a lot of boats made in that era. A LoneStar of that size and general design will easily handle a 25 horse 2 stroke motor. I would expect your Naden to do the same.
I Googled Naden Boats Webster, Iowa and came up with the following results:

I just came across this thread in another post. There mat be something of value there about Naden boats:

Next question is, do you have a title and/or registration papers for it? If not, you might want to check on how difficult it will be to obtain clear title before you put any time or money into it.

BTW, that looks like a neat boat. Good luck on your restoration project.
