What is it with people who don't want to give their name, or location? Why a profile? They will ask about a part, but could be a 1000 miles away. Their engine is only 5 years old, but only used in salt water. I've noticed that most of the men with an answer have a name, and an address, interesting.

Probably want anonymity and no personal contact. The problem is that you might be able to help someone with a part or test if they let you know where they are.

It also helps to identify respondents who really know and understand certain operating conditions such as salt water, high elevation or acid lakes.

I live in a town of 20K people, so you have a 1 in 20,000 chance of shooting the right person. And if you really are trying to kill me, I have a few addresses you can try first..

I live in a town of 900! And if you were to pull into town, stop at one of the 2 stores and ask, they would point to my house.

I just like my privacy,so I will give you a rough idea where I live, right now I am in my cottage on Owasco lake,in a town called Scipio Center.the town has about 500 people, but nobody knows me because I travel to and from my cottage by boat.I cannot even get to town from the cottage because it is at the bottom of a very steep hill without any road connection. My only connection with the town is,you guessed it...property tax

actually , as mentioned above, we need the basic location of the poster for advice........there is a big differents between salt and fresh boats, as well as water conditions......if you are in vegas....we can guess that you are boating mead. and so on !

Re: Name, and locaation.

To visit Newville, one must bring a boat as the town was flooded to make a lake. :D
