Anyone know how to remove stickers from fibreglass? They are vinyl.

Re: Name my boat!

How about:

I'm Sixteen and you're not!! Ha Ha Ha!!! Now go back to your stressful job, piling bills, and oppressive mortgages while I enjoy being Sixteen!!!

That's what I would name her if I were sixteen again....

PS You'll need a large transom and small letters

HAHAHAHA! That made my day!

Now, I'm going back to work to make money to pay the mortgage... :(

Seriously though, my buddy got a mid 80's bayliner cruiser from his boss for free. needed interior work and the motor needed to be reassembled. He only had a few hundred bucks into it. He was going to name it "nada dime", till he forgot to winterize it and cracked the block, costing him a few thousand. He changed his mind after that.

You can use a mixture of ivory soap and water, along with a razor blade to remove the letters.

3M makes an excellent product for ungluing their glue.

I've used it on several cars with spectacular results. No blades needed. Thus, no scratches or "uh-ohs".

Any body shop supply house will have it.

You need to contact Branman1971.
He's great at coming up with boat names.
He came with mine - Haulmark.
I'm Mark.

Re: Name my boat!

does anyone name a 16 ft boat?
I have never seen names on small boats before. You don't even have any real room to paint a name on.
The letters would be so small that other boats could not read them.
Try to pick a short name, so that you can paint it on the side big.
You could never fit it on the transom.
