napa # for fuel pump/mercruiser 140

Anyone know the NAPA number for a 1984 mercruiser 140 fuel pump? Its the one with the filter on top....

Why don't you just call your local NAPA and ask them???????

They say they don't have a way to look up boat parts....tried to tell them its the same as a GM 4 cylinder but without a model, etc to go by, the guy wasn't much help.

They have to look it up under a Sierra number. Most, but maybe not all, NAPA stores sell the Sierra brand of Marine parts.
And you don't want to look up marine parts under an automotive number. Auto fuel pumps, carbs, distributors, starters, alternators, etc, are not to be used on boats. They are not coast guard approved and the are a spark/fire/and explosion hazard.

Tell them to look in Napa's Catalog # MSP-7............
That's the Part # of the Marine Products catalog..........

Parts guys like to talk "Part #s",........ There ya Go............

Yeah, A new NAPA was built 2 blocks from my house.
I went in and asked to see their marine catalog- they didn't have one.
So I ordered one- 6 weeks out.
gonna have to train them myself?
