Spent the day tuning all 3 trim positions with all 5 tab positions with 26mph being the best top speed. Took the tabs off and got 28 mph. I'm going to keep the tabs off because when I run the boat it's at WOT or pulling the kids on a tube and they like the wake better without the tabs. I'm done playing tab tech, I'm ready to enjoy some 28 mph runs around the lake all day.

How are you getting your speed readings.
If you are using the pressure setup, maybe try a gps device


I plan on getting some smart tabs now after reading these posts
I will get the Smart Tabs SX9510-40
Alloy 15ft fishing boat, 60 hp 2stroke... with all the nasty traits these seem to fix

As an update to my earlier post:

I got great response from Nauticus tabs. I sent them my used 35lb actuators and they sent me some brand new 20lb actuators. The set up works great now on my 13' C3 with a 40hp. I have use doelfins in the past and have to say the smart tabs are way better. I get less nose up on take-off and much better performance. I used to be a little uncomfortable in this boat at higher speeds but now it handles great.

I don't understand the poor responses from other posters on nauticus customer service as they were so courteous and helpful to me, even knowing I bought my smart tabs used!

Man, I'm glad to hear you got it worked out. Sometimes, just takes time to get the right set-up and dialed in. Great news!
