Re: Nauticus trim tabs, some questions.

Greg at Nauticus contacted me back and are sending me a brand new set of pistons. As JASinIL said, I too had them tell me the differant plane was ok as long as they were not binding. I will report back when I see the new pistons in the mail.

You will probably have them in 2 or 3 days, I know when I changed from 80 to 60 it was that way and then when the 1 failed it was that way.

I've a question these smart tabs do u set them then forget them? I've trim tabs on my 21' Olympic, 888 merc. and mine are electric and can be adjusted as I need them. I'm new to boating and I'm trying to get educated on this stuff so thanks and safe boatin

These are an inexpensive alternative to what you have. You have several holes to adjust tension, but once you get them right you are done. If you already have adjustable units, I would just play with them and learn how they work and keep them.

I wasn't going to change them I was just wondering what the difference was, I use mine mainly at slow speeds and I do play with them to see how they work. Thanks for the answer to my question Rob
