Just bought a new to me 1998 Tracker Pro Deep V 17. The anchor light works properly when just the anchor switch is on. However, the anchor light does not turn on when the running lights are on. The port/starboard lights are working as intended. Any suggestions on where to start the troubleshooting?

back of the switch. There's 2 designs one uses 6 terminals the other uses a diode you will have to take a look to see what your is. If its a diode the chances are it is bad and needs to be changed

I think the Vitaminsea's will be the 3 terminal switch with a diode as it makes sense that a blown diode would give the results that he is experiencing. A new diode should fix the problem. Until the switch is pulled and checked I am only guessing.

Re: Nav lights not working properly

Got into tearing apart the dash today. The back of the switch has 7 terminals coming off of it. took the switch apart and cleaned and inspected all wires and terminals. Put everything back together and still has the same issue. Can't find a diode anywhere that is connected to the navigation lights. I'm thinking a previous owner put their uneducated hands on it. Looks like I'm going to have to just experiment. Wish I could find a wire diagram. I'm also having an issue with the live well pumps. Both live wells run off of the same switch. Both work continuous on the manual setting, but not at all on the auto setting. That's what leads me to believe someone was messing where they shouldn't have been.

ok yours is wired like the diagram Outsider posted in #3 except you have one extra terminal which means the switch probably has a light built into it. Look at the jumper that's placed on the stern light side of the switch does your have that jumper?

auto live well switch has a timer unit somewhere near the dash.

I have added a link to another member who posted a tracker wiring diagram your should be similar
