Need 1989 shift rod height

Does anyone know the proper shift rod measurement for a 1989 evinrude 140 xl shaft (25")? From searching this site I believe it is 26 15/16 but I'm not sure. Thanks for the help.

Thats correct, measured in neutral from the housing to the center of the shift rod eye +- 1/32
