need 270 sundancer hull schematic

When we bought our boat it had no owners manual, so now I ran across a onan 4.0 cck genny that I hope to convert to marine, and have no idea were it would be mounted below the deck?
as well as the wireing harness.
Does any one have a 270 or whatever sea ray, 10 foot on beam have any litature for mounting the genny as well as the wireing schematic?

You do realize that marine generators are water cooled, the exhaust is water cooled, all the electrics are spark proof, and the carbs meet marine standards just like your drive motors for your boat? The thing is in the bilge just like the engines, just waiting to throw a spark or leak fuel and blow you up .....

The factory generator for Sea Rays of that era was Westerbeke. I don't think you'll find any help on installing an Onan.

I have all the manuals for my 1987 Sundancer 300, which is very similar to your 270. I've been scanning them in so I have electronic copies of them. There's a set of wiring diagrams for the boat as well as a set for the generator. PM me an email address I can send them to if you'd like a copy.

You may have better luck asking for help on the Club Sea Ray "Classic Sea Ray" forum (older than 1989). Lots of classic 270 owners on there:
