Im in the middle of refurbing my 1974 Ranger bass boat with the 3.0L. The previous owner basically gutted the console. Anyway, where would be a good source to find replacement gauges and can I use more modern ones or am I stuck in the 70's?
Thanks for any info.
(Basically needing, temp, RPM, oil pressure gauges as the Speedo is water driven.)

You can find what you need right here on iBoats. Scroll back to the top of this page and click on the BOAT PARTS AND ACCESSORIES tab. Just don't head to your local auto store and think you can replace them with auto style gauges.

two types of gauges, standard sensor driven (what you need) and CAN / Smartcraft, etc (which you dont need)

there are two types of speedo's, a pitot tube type and a GPS type

you want a pitot tube speedo
and sensor driven temp and oil pressure

The instruments are standard 33-240 ohm gauges, nothing special.
