Hi, I just purchased an 89 Bayliner with a 125 HP Force motor which had the power tilt motor removed. I was given a new pump but the lower section which the hydraulic lines connect to is missing. Can someone tell me where I can purchase this part of the pump/ Anything I see on line is for the complete pump including this lower section? Also where would I find the serial number on the motor?
Thanks, Scott

Scott,

I own a 1980 Chrysler 115, mine didn't have a tilt trim motor either.. Well, it did but it was junk. I just purchased a brand new one from outboardparts.com It cost about $250. Not a bad price considering I had some local boat shops quote me at 300 for a used, and 400 for new..

Hope this helps.

I think he is saying that he has a trim motor but needs a valve body. I don't know what to tell you. I think you can find them on i-boats but they are around $300 each. You may have to look really hard to find a place that isn't backordered. The only other path i know of is to try to find a used one for $40-$100 off ebay (or craigs-list) then send it off to get rebuilt for $130ish.

Thanks for responding. I see where Iboats does have this vavle body unit on back order as suspected. I will continue my quest as suggested. Meanwhile if anyone stubbles across one, please let me know. I am excited to get her back together! The motor started right up yesterday for the first time in quite a long while.
Thanks again, Scott
