need a diagram

i need something to tell me exactly how to put all the accesories back on the front of the motor, i took pictures but now apparently not good enough. it is a 96 mercruiser 2bbl.

yeah i tried, i didnt take it from the right angle, i cant see where spacers go and what uses the same bolt holes, i got it together and i think i have some bolts in the wrong places and i have a spacer left over and dont know where it goes. just wondering if there is a diagram of how it all goes together

Did you check in the manual for your specific engine in the sticky section?

yes i have downloaded the manual and there arent really any good pics of it in there

There was a bunch of changes through this period. I have a '96 1/2 which has the serpentine belt. Early '96 had seperate belts. If the former, I have a bunch of pictures of mine that may help. Let me know, and will post them.

mine uses a v belt, 2 one for crank, water, powersteering, and one for crank, water, alternator, where is the parts book?

Basically, you just have to make sure the pulleys line up. The washer left over probably is letting a pulley out of alignment.
