Need A New Prop

A buddy of mine has a 2010 Bayliner 185. The boat is powered by a Mercruiser 3.0 with Alpha 1 drive. It still has the factory Mercury aluminum propeller. The numbers were barely visable, what I could get was Mercury 832832A15P21. Could someone please reccommend a prop for me. I want to get a stainless one, and suggestions.

you need to provide some current WOT tach #'s and speed obtained.. there's a post in the prop section explaining this..

The closest SS match by Mercury would be the Mercury Vengeance 13.75 X 21, or the Quicksilver Silverado in the same size. Your aluminum prop is a 14.25 X 21.

You'll want your WOT rpm to at 4800 with a light load(1 or 2 in the boat) if you plan on water sports and/or the ability to haul more people.

The Quicksilver is available here, while the Mercury prop is only available from an authorized Mercury dealer(that's why it costs more).

A nice alternative would be a Solas HR Titan 14.5 X 21 for about $100 less than a Quicksilver.
