Need a new propane 2 burner stove top

Hi everyone, well broke out glass cover to our electric stove top so now we would like to replace it with propane, Anyone know where I could pick one up cheap?

Afraid that 'cheap' doesn't enter into it if you're going to make it safe. Do you have room (and money) for a dedicated marine propane locker with all the associated safety equipment (shutoff solenoid and I'm not sure what else)? Carrying bulk propane on a boat shouldn't be taken lightly.

I have an Origo 2 burner alcohol/electric cooktop that I use and like alot. Another alrernative might be a camp stove that uses the small propane canisters. I have a single-burner propane stove that I sometimes use in the cockpit. Only keep aboard as much propane as you need, and store the canisters in a ventilated area. Unscrew the cylinder from the stove when you aren't using it.

Thank you for your replies, I think we are just going to use our camping stove with the small removable canisters. It sounds like the safest way.

Can still be a fire/explosion hazard. Use caution.

Many boats (with inboard engines closed under a cover) have bilge blower systems to expel any accumulated volitile fumes from the bilge. Its an inexpensive upgrade.

I had one of the old Kawasaki "Jetmate" crossbreed between a boat and jet ski that had a blower. The owner's manual specified how long to run the blower before starting the engine to ensure you wouldn't blow the thing up. The smallest gasoline leak into the bilge can lead to blowing a boat apart...

I may be paranoid... but am I paranoid enough?
