Need a "No longer available" 25 HP neeedle and seat

I have a 1983 1/2 Merc. 25 HP with a 9C1C carb. Serial number 6274856.
I need a needle and seat Merc. part # 1399-8143. I have searched the internet and Mercury dealers all I get is "No longer available". I ordered kit #8153 which I was told included a needle and seat but it didn't.
Any suggestions? Can the tip on the needle be replaced? Little motor runs great. At idle it spews gas out the throat due to the needle being groved.

Thanks for your help. I tried but they are closed until Monday. I have searched high and low for a simple needle but have been told it's obsolete.
Great little motor I just need a needle/seat.
