Ben, I recommend a 23" Solas 4 blade prop for your uses, you apparently still have throttle left at 5,000 RPM even with 6 people on the boat. I made a guess that you can potentially get up to 5,200 RPM even with that load.

Prop Change

With the new prop you will find that your prop slip will go down but you may lose some of your hole shot and acceleration because of the increase in pitch, but you may gain a little speed as well.

Great! I will get it ordered up today from iboats, and update this tread with the results.

Thanks!

Received the prop yesterday in the mail, went to install it today and seem to be running into an issue. With the new prop on, there is no splines on the shaft for the thrust washer to grab on to. It almost seems like the prop isn't on all the way but It feels like it is. What do I need to do?

Problem solved, went to the local marina and apparently my boat had an older style thrust hub, got a new one and the prop fit like it was supposed to. Can't wait to get it in the water and try it out.

So I am back with some results...

Had 6 people in the boat, out of the hole she is a little slow, slower than I would like I think. If no body was sitting in the bow it takes forever to plane out.

Was able to get 1 skier (190lbs) out of the water with 5 other people in the boat though.

Cruising it much better though, If I can recall correctly at 3700rpm we were cruising about 40mph, maxed out at 4400rpm about 54mph in some choppy water. If I were to do it over again, I think I would go with a 21" 4 Blade.
