Need a tower for an outboard

I've been looking around the web and haven't found what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a "mini" tower that fits over the outboard. Its a 24' open fisherman, and we're looking to use the tower to wake board and knee board.
I'm looking for a company that sells them or any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Like this:

Those do not even look remotely like a good idea for wakeboarding. Dont get me wrong, I have seen them used... I am nto saying instantanious explosion of the boat is going to happen here.... but well... they don't look sturdy and they dont look like the mouting points are wide/thick enough to not crack the crap out of the fiberglass.

I too would suggest a ski pylon that you can attach tot he floor. There are also extended pylons that use suppots to the bow and stern eyes that are removeable that seem to work well for a lot of people.

The only boat I'm aware of with a "tower" like that was on one of those little 3-man jet boats and it had some beefy backing on the fiberglass to take the load. I imagine the one in that picture is also boat-model-specific. A ski pylon is probably your best bet. Even a shorter one will raise your tow point enough to where it's much easier to get up on a wakeboard. That's what I ran for 3 ro 4 years on my old 17' Ebbtide.
