Naaahh, my first three wives hit me a lot harder than she ever has, and for a lot less reason, and I survived them. My current one was raised in a union household, and knows my record, She's concerned about job security and retirement benefits.

Women like to let you guess to see if there is some kind of inner connection ESP thing going on.

Obviously you failed, but your recovery was pretty good.

Next time, try better in preempting her moods and work on your ESP.

After rethinking, you blew it in several other ways.

1) you should have acted genuienly upset that she was leaving you alone.
2) you should have offered to go with her to at least hold her purse.
3) you should have offered to forget about cooking at home and offered to go to a nice resturant and then follow it with a romantic walk on the beach.

Buddy, you blew it big time!

Oh man, I guess I must have gotten it right the first time. I married a girl that makes twice as much as me, loves her job and works 6 days a week. We have a shared checking account and she doesn't mind me buying what I need for the boat or the bike, just as long as she gets a ride once in a while.
I just learned to smile, nod my head and say "yes dear" whenever she takes a breath and that seems to work. I mustta got lucky.
