Re: need a windshield

I am guilty of that for sure! I alwas need some sort of project or I get completely restless. My wife has come to accept this now.

Three months at sea with a fun thing like that hanging over your head. Wow that must drag.

Hang in there and make sure the side with the barnacles is in the water

Egg,
Now that you have your own project, who is gonna help me break..I mean fix my lawn ornament?? :)

When you get to pulling outdrive, gimme a call. Mine came of easily but would have been a tad bit easier with a second person to help support/balance it.

It's getting mighty cold this week..and we did get some flurries last night...better hurry up...I suggest quittig your job and work on the boat full time thru the winter :)

-JustMrWill

Re: need a windshield

Thanks Will

Glad to hear that yours came off easy. I am still trying to determine exactly what oudrive I have. It is either a Type 1,1a, 1b, 1c or type II. The oddity seems to be that I have have one hydraulic hose going to each of the two trim cyclinders. But then my hydraulic hoses pass through the transom on either side of the outdrive gimbal. Where most the I have seen connect to the gimbal (on the outdrive side)

I am planning on pulling it this weekend if you want to lend a hand. Got plenty of beer at the house for after

We had flurries on the ground this morning already!
