We have a 1994 21' Larson and have just replaced the stereo and speakers.

Can anyone give ideas on the best way to hide the speaker wires that now run behind the lower upholstered side panels? They are now drooping down into the storage area.

Or point me to a post or article showing options?

thanks in advance!

Pictures would help tremendously with this, where the wires are and what type of material is around them. I have used some plastic sleeves, with plastic tabs that have adhesive pads on the back to zip tie the sleeve to. Cheap, easy and effective, but I had a surface to stick the tabs to. Otherwise I have seen people have luck with a couple of staples as well.

If the wires run between the boat hull and the upholstered panels, I'd epoxy some small wooden blocks (e.g., 1" block of half inch plywood) to the hull using PC11 or MarineTex and then use some screw-in cable clips to attach the wires to the blocks. I did that in my Larson and it works well.

Maybe I'm not understanding your situation, but if straight replacement, can you use the existing wires? I did that when I replaced the head and speakers in my small cruiser years ago - still works well.

The hardware section of any home improvement store like Lowes, Home Depot etc., has a wide selection of stick on type clips/hangers. Some of which are used in combination with Zip Ties. Staples are a good way to puncture the wires and/or break the insulation.
