I have a 13' Cobia center console that we use for fishing and tubing. It is a great, strong boat but is short on looks.
I want to paint/refinish the deck but I am unsure as to how to proceed. It appears a previous owner did this once before as there is some peeling/flaking paint and some sagging in the prior application.
I am not looking for perfection but just a big improvement.
The photos show some of the flaking. It also shows where the glass is showing through (looks like cracks in the photos) These are not cracks, just places where the paint looks like it receded. The glass underneath is smooth and undamaged.
There are some small chips that I will need to fill.
I really appreciate any ideas including products or product types. I was looking online and saw some polyester resin materials and was wondering if this is what I need.
