Hi everyone, I took my old exhaust manifold out, and it had some internal crack or something that was filling the engine with water. Now as I am about to install the new exhaust I decided to look into the exhaust ports of the engine. cylinder 1, 3, and 5 the stem valves (I beleive maybe it is the rods) were bright clean. cylinder 2 , 4, 6 had carbon deposits on the valve stems or the rods. Sorry for not using precise technical terms I am new to this ...in the learning stage...
I beleive I was lucky the block has no crack. The previous owner told me that he installed a new head on the engine about 3 years ago. I need advise about what I should do, and what are my possibilities....
