Need axle w/spindles for small Holsclaw Boat Trailer

The frame on my old Holsclaw trailer is 37" wide with 1-3/4 slipper springs centered at 34.5". The total length of the old axle is 53" including the 1" spindles. The trailer is used in salt water.

I have been unable to locate a replacement axle and would appreciate any leads. My email address is attached to my user name.

You could buy the spindles and have a good welding shop build one for you or buy one that has the same spindles and have a shop shorten the length.

Thanks, but I would not be asking if it were not that it has to be a custom job.

The rest of the trailer is in good shape and I hate to waste it. I can cut the frame and make it fit some of the stock axles, but I really don't want to.

I talked to a fellow at a Harley shop who said he could do it for me in October if I would wait. I will if I have to.

Step 1: Go to the Champion Trailer Parts web site.
Step 2: Read the instructions for measuring an axle.
Step 3: Order it from Champion.

I got the axle from Champion today. Zero defects and a perfect transaction as you must have expected.
