I purchased this boat with a BOS only. I originally bought it for parts, but the more I look at it, the more I like it.
I need to determine manufacturer and year before I go to the DMV.

It's a 13 foot aluminum with a f/g bow cover.
Only tag on transom is one by the Outboard Boating Club stating the a capacity of 935lbs for people and a motor cap of 40hp max.

The boat looks to have been repainted many years ago, looks to be badging had been removed and hole filled with pop rivets prior to paint.

Interesting characteristic of the nose cap, the bow is very round at the top.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.
I have searched all the catalogs for alm boats on fiberglassics.

Re: NEED boat ID help

Nice old rig there:)

Wish I could tell you more, but all I can say for sure is that it's an aluminum runabout from the early-to-mid 60s.

Could be a Lonestar or old Crestliner maybe? With no HIN/badge it will be tough to tell for sure unless it is recognized by someone.

Re: NEED boat ID help

I checked the LoneStar catalogs and no match, I have a Crestliner so I know its not one of them.
If I had to guess on year, I would think late '50's, seems like the ;60's went to forward swept bows

Re: NEED boat ID help

I have sent the pics to a friend that knows his boats. Will send response if forthcoming.

Glad you have decided to possibly keep it, has some unusual lines.

Report from my friend. He thinks it might be an Arkansas Traveller. Also said the bow cover may be fiberglass.

I goggled that but only found full glassers. More research necessary.

Does that help?

Re: NEED boat ID help

The dashboard control looks like a replacement so that is of little help to identify. Did I see the edges of some fiberglassing in the pics or are they remnants of the seating material?

Seating

Only Glass on this is the bow deck.

I have narrowed it down.
I am sure that it is an Arkansa Traveler, model DUT-14

Possibly '59, '60, or '61
I cant find any good pics of '59 but if you say they didnt go to the V until '1960 then that arrows it more. However the glass models in '59 had the V.

I can rule out '62 becuase they made it 3 inches longer that year.

I hope it's a '59 and that the '58 'rude is original
