Need bow lifting 14"x19p 3 blade..

I've already determined that the best prop size for my 1997 18' BR/3.0lx/Alpha 1 Gen 2 is a 14"x19p 3 blade. Best for overall, being as that 70% of the time the boat is being used for towing a wakeskater.

I actually would like a prop that raises the bow, not the stern. I use ballast bags in the back of the boat to increase wake size, and after experimenting it is for sure the best the harder we can get the stern to bite into the water.

So, what brand/series would anyone recommend for this purpose?

Thanks in advance..

Mark you will want a high RAKE prop, as that will raise the bow, but you do not want any cup in the trailing edge as that will produce stern lift. There are many props to choose from, so telling you a specific prop is a hard thing to do. There are many more elements in a prop than just rake and cup and they can produce many different performance enhancements, but Rake produces bow lift.

The Solas Amita 3 15 3/10" X 19P will do exactly what you want, or if you want/need stainless the Lexor is it's equiv..

I don't know about the smaller dia. Amita 3 but I know for a fact the big dia. lifts the boat nicely :)

Actually in the Solas line it is the HR series that are the bow lifter's..the Amitia is a large blade design with little rake. And yes there are lifter's the Amitia that is but he is looking to dig his leg in deep trying to create a wake.

Check out the new Turbo Vector. Nice prop, plenty of lift.

I like the solas HR titan (4 blade) a lot, and you can't go wrong with a laser 2 both have significant amounts of bow lift. The laser is usually a fast prop and with the newer ones you can play with the vents to make a relatively big difference in your holeshot. For what you're doing I would say the solas 4-blade, maybe under pitched a little would be a great prop.

Ah, ok I see what he wants to do now. The big blade does lift the hull, but it might lift the whole hull too much, I know I don't leave a big wake.

I would say come up to a 4 blade ss prop with the same pitch. As far as brand, your gess is as good as anyones.

Ok this is to simple do not over think this...you need a cheap 3 blade so you cannot get on plane...think about this whole thing.. First they boat mfg's create a boat the has midship stern drive...on a 18-26' boat....its's a sport boat

Then they flood the boat to create drag...and then the get top dollar..:D:D:D:D:D....and then
